If you look for the thread about Malayan campaign aircraft, there are some beautifully clear LIFE photographs showing this well. That would certainly seal the deal for me,.......... it is just a shame that they have not announced a Beaufighter too! The Lightning F.6 was forgotten about at first,.....so what about the Beau? Also clears up a small puzzlement for me, which is, why, wgen they obviously had a serviceable Blenheim IV tool available, did they not release it as a single? Now I know! The Mk.IV cockpit looks much better in profile on the new one and I like the 1 piece moulding, fitting the bomb aimer parts on the old kit was a PITA.
