Hi people,

Im hoping for some help with finding a set of 1/24 5 spoke wheels as close as is possible to the pic below:

Theyre as near as damn it Enkei RP-01's which I know used to be available a long time ago, but theyre not in stock anywhere nowadays.

They are for a copy of SWMBOs car for her birthday, everything else is sorted, Im just really struggling with finding anything that is anywhere near this style of 5 spoke wheel just so as to be passable, rather than exact.

Does anyone have any suggestions or, got to ask, has a set of the RP-01's stashed away that I may purchase?

Any help is much appreciated, her birthday is next saturday.

Cheers,

Rob

Thanks, Ive had a look under "1/24 modified" but theres little in the way of wheels.

Ive been searching the bay under "1/24 wheels" for months now and seen nothing thats even close and very little thats even 5 spoke.

Are there any online shops that have hoards of wheels that might be worth a try?

Thanks Hendie, but nothing there to suit unfortunately.

Steve - yes it is and although they are MX5 wheels (for a special edition version of the Mk2 that never made it into true production... long story) theyre not available with a kit - unless Im missing something somewhere, Ive searched high and low.

Rallychef - they could be good, thank you very much. As you say, they need a little work to be closer, but they aint bad.

I have found some closish ones and ordered them. Theyre scale 17" though, might be a bit big to represent the 15" that are on the 1:1, but I will try those first and get back to you if they look pants.

Meanwhile Ive had a disaster with a lacquer repair meeting black marker pen window seals... doh!!!

Thanks again guys, much appreciated.

Following on from this, I am now looking for a set of 1/24 15" OZ Superlegerra's as per the pic below.

Does anyone have some spare of have any idea if they were ever made and where I might purchase a set?

Look for an outfit called XS Wheels or XS Tuning; they do 1/24th wheels for Japanese sports cars, etc.

I picked up a set for my Tamiya Celica, much nicer than the stock wheels and tyres.

Example:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/XS-tuning-1-24-STREET-S17-17-WHEEL-BRAKE-TIRE-silver/360928033558?_trksid=p4069.c100039.m2059&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107094819%26meid%3D28582f0e0e33429dbb42dd466bc9561d%26pid%3D100039%26prg%3D20140107094819%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D360928033558

Also, Aoshima does some wheel and tyre sets.

Thankyou.

The ebay ones are close to the style, but way too big for what I want. Its hard finding smaller wheels it seems.

Re Hobbyeasy, Ive had a rummage on their site, but I cant find wheels... I feel a bit stupid, where are they on there?

I purchased this set recently:

http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5470

and a better look at them:

It's quite hard to find 15" in these styles. I hope you find the ones you need.
