Beautiful! Best I've seen in this kit I think. Did you do the engine too? Would like to see pics if you did!

Tabio, the engine was left out of the model as well as the machine guns, this pieces will go into another proyect that will seat next to this one on a display, it will be a P-51D withuot skin, so you can see all the interior of the aircraft

I don't even consider myself a fan of the Mustang but your build makes me wanna buy two! Absolute top finish and good pictures. That olive green looks the part, will have to try different tones of the same color on the Lancaster I'm building right now.

Will look out for the skeleton build you whispered about!

EDIT: I thought I recognized your nick name, found your thread with the MH-60 and the Littlebird about a week ago and thought it was some of the best I've seen! I have bought the MH-60 and will keep looking for the dragon kit.

Erik, the thread of the skinless mustang is on another forum www.largescaleplanes.com and is gonna be a slow building cause on this time of the year a get to travel a lot, but as soon as i stop traveling a will resume it

Absolutely fabulous ! the best p-51 I have ever seen .A real masterwork and a lesson for NMF finishing.

OLD CROW was the aircraft flown by 'Bud' Anderson a really great fighter pilot.

 

Try and get his book - 'To Fly and Fight' its 'a very good read.
