boom175
Wow just saw on Facebook , GWH is doing a 48th F-15 B/D with markings for the IAF and USAF in the initial issue. Hope its as nice as the MiG-29 kits. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=ms.584061291650739.584061304984071.584061301650738.584061324984069.584061361650732.584061364984065.584061384984063.584061424984059.584061444984057.584061421650726.584061461650722.584061474984054.584061494984052.584061518317383.584061531650715.584061514984050.584061561650712.584061581650710.584061594984042.584061591650709.bps.a.584061271650741.1073741924.224979750892230&type=1 Edited September 18, 2013 by boom175

Jennings Heilig
If this new F-15 is as nice as their 1/48 MiG-29, I foresee a lot of Hasegawa and Academy F-15s being for sale really cheap! And of course a year later they'll do the A/C. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=ms.584061291650739.584061304984071.584061301650738.584061324984069.584061361650732.584061364984065.584061384984063.584061424984059.584061444984057.584061421650726.584061461650722.584061474984054.584061494984052.584061518317383.584061531650715.584061514984050.584061561650712.584061581650710.584061594984042.584061591650709.bps.a.584061271650741.1073741924.224979750892230&type=
Caerbannog
Just saw it as well. And if it is flawed GWH is not shy to reverse the molds as we know.
redcap
Very promising CAD shots. From the missiles, looks like an IDF machine or scheme is planned too? Gary
Jennings Heilig
At last when the single seater comes out I'll be able to do this one without a lot of backward bending! She was one of the two single seaters that nailed the Bear-H for the first time on 12 September 1985, when they got the first useable video of the H, and the first close-up images of the mounting hard points for the missile racks. In those days that was heady stuff! We lived, ate, breathed, and xxxxxxxx Bear-H's in the USAF intel biz. I sure hope GWH gets the 600 gallon gas bags right. KoenL
That's looking very nice. Wolfpack
Oh gawd, not another F-15. Surely they can come up with something more original. The F-94 was an inspired choice. Now we're going ordinary? W
Jennings Heilig
Why do you feel the need to post another "not another XYZ" post?? If you don't want to buy one, then don't buy it. It's really just that simple. Other people *are* interested. Piddling and moaning about something that holds no interest for you is really tedious for the rest of us. Make your own thread for Piddling commentary.
Daryl J.
Very cool. Just got a tour of 85-130 a couple weeks ago and thought there was no truly great F-15D kit out there for the 1/48 crowd. Edited September 18, 2013 by Daryl J. Jennings Heilig
Curious why they appear to have included the AIM-9D/G/H. I'm not aware of any F-15 ever having carried either one.

Paul Harrison Academy didn't fix any of the main issues...they just gave it a new candy coating. throwing a bunch of weapons and some new decals doesn't fix anything
