Wezra
Did I miss something? Replacement manual? Looks beyond gorgeous 'in a plastic way' just ordered mine.
Martin @ AMK Hobby
Not a replacement as such. Poor choice of words maybe. Anyway, welcome to the MiG-31 club!
general melchett
Looks awesome Martin....really does just get better ! I know it's early days but are there any plans for an 'M' at some point or would that be too much of an upgrade ? (new fuselage, cockpit)..... Mig 31 club....I'm a fully paid up member ! fu_manchu
And me! We need to put our money where our wish lists are if we are ever going to encourage new manufacturers to put the effort in
general melchett
Here's an interesting clip......I think this is what you call a major fuel leak.. They build em tough those Russians !, how that lot didn't go up.... Edited November 14, 2015 by general melchett
Breaker
You know, if I saw that much leaking fuel, I think the last thing I'd be doing is getting close to get a video! Let it drain off, wash it away then get close!
Muzz
Was just reading in The Flight Craft book last night that big fuel leaks were quite common in the early days and prompted a redesign of the fuel system. Apparently the Foxhounds engines have a relatively low operating temperature though so more were lost from running out of fuel rather than inflight fires! Mike
Yikes! That's not a fuel leak, that's a fuel Tsunami!
Breaker
There's a good documentary or two on Youtube. It starts with the MiG-25 and then follows into the -31 about the development and build of them both. All in Russian.
F4u
That's some fuel leak lucky it had enough in the tanks to get back ! Don't think I would get that close with the video camera brakes would still be warm engines still ticking good old Russian health and safety !!! Thanks for posting General. More you tube clips I watch the more I like this beast can't wait to get hold of this kit. Guy

bentwaters81tfw
That's a very competitive price. Now ordered the Foxhound from Hannants.
SaintsPhil
That's a very keen price, I had figured at least 20% more, now falls nicely into the 'get it now and stash it' bracket rather than the 'hang on until it's discounted' bracket
