Funny, now you mention it, I haven't seen Milka chocolate in Australia for years :-( Shane

swordfish fairey
I have heard through another site ( is there such a thing) that Tamiya X-16 is a good match, but I have not tried it........... Smudge

Tripehound
Knew I could rely on a Saints fan to bring come up with the goods. And Smudge, obviously - thanks both.
saintsclaire
No Problem, are you doing the AN-2 as well ? (I've ordered both) and should the interior be done in milk chocolate brown? Claire
Tripehound
I'm just doing the 1/72 Ju-52 because I'm on a diet. Interior will be chocolate brown and mid-stone as I'm doing the Daim version...
David G
Weren't Lima Oscar (also Polish) going to do the same scheme in 1/144 a while ago? It would be nice to know if that's every likely to happen since I have an Eduard kit ready to start.
saintsclaire
It has been suggested to me that the fuselage should be bright silver on the inside and the seating brown Claire

Tripehound
Are you using the Airfix or Italeri Ju-52??? Don't know yet - I don't have either in the stash. I assume the Italeri is the more recent tooling?
snapper_city
Don't know yet - I don't have either in the stash. I assume the Italeri is the more recent tooling? I asked the question this afternoon. Was told the Airfix kit is so old its prehistoric. I have gone with the Italeri boxing, Eduard masks & the Karaya Milka decals from the big H as they only had a few left in stock... 30 quid all in with P&P. Sweet like chocolate. Caerbannog
RAL 4005 "Blaulila" is "Milka lila". I suggest you get a RAL colour fan (they are cheap on the bay and quite useful) and mix some colour to match. There is no direct match available from Revell, Testors, humbrol or so. Tripehound
Thanks Gary and Caerbannog. Just ordered the decals, going with the Italeri kit, Snapper City's efforts reveal there is not really a choice to make.
snapper_city
Mine arrived last week and I'm happy with it. The decals look good also.
snapper_city
Vallejo Model Colour - Blue Violet 811 looks very close. A dash of white might be needed but I have just done a colour test on a Milka wrapper. Ill add a picture tonight if I get time. One thing that will be interesting is how well the decals settle on the corrugated surfaces... Lots of Sol & Set I guess...
Caerbannog
I think if the surcae is glossy Sol & Set will be fine. I managed to get the old Italeri SR-71 decals (those absolutely crappy thick carrier no-stick things) on the corrugated areas without silvering. Since then I am affraid of nothing ;-) Rene
snapper_city
As promised. Vallejo Model Colour - Blue Violet 811. Maybe a smidge of white needed but very close. Another reason to go the Italeri route? I recall the corrugations on the Airfix one were very deep, like on their Ford trimotor. Mmmmm, chocolate...
