mackem01
As some of you may have noticed, I've been squirreling info together for a scratchbuild. For its smooth clean lines I've chosen the Fairey Fox - it'll hopefully be the -1a version as the cowling is smoother (so easier). The question for you all is this - would it be better to shape plastic card over formers or build up a solid fuselage with a cutout for the cockpit. Your views would be most appreciated to keep me on track. This is the first of many, many questions on what will be a long project.
Giorgio N
What scale ?In smaller scales (like 1/72) I find it easier to build a solid fuselage, for a larger model however the other method is IMHO better
mackem01
The scale is going to be 1/48th.
