Spad
That is superb - love that catapult! And, yes, I've certainly clocked that it's 1/72 - just makes it even more impressive as that detail could easily pass for 1/48! Well done sir! cheers Rick

TCinLA
The catapult is seriously really amazing work, and that old model (goes back to the late 1960s) looks good. One bit of information for future reference: Pre-war US Navy aircraft had the cockpit painted in aluminum lacquer. An easy point for people who don't study the subject in detail to miss, not offered as a criticism.
EXPrompt
Thanks to all for responses Well I am not afraid of criticism. We in Russia have at forums such fights, your criticism is a trifle on comparing... US navy is not my specialization, about a cabin didn't know. Nick Millman
One bit of information for future reference: Pre-war US Navy aircraft had the cockpit painted in aluminum lacquer. An easy point for people who don't study the subject in detail to miss, not offered as a criticism. Nothing wrong with the interior on the model. USN BuAer Tech Order 50-38 of 23 August 1938:- Cockpit interior - semi-gloss Bronze Green No.9 or other approved colour Other personnel spaces - semi-gloss Light Green No. 6 or other pastel greens Baggage compartments, bomb bays and interior structural spaces - aluminised zinc chromate or similar to other personnel spaces Nick
Nick Millman
Beautiful build and presentation of an often overlooked kit - amazing work. One question if I may - is the artist's signature on that box art legible? I'm curious as to who it is! Thanks! Nick

Ed Russell
Excellent conception and build - the WIP is a nice bonus. The Hasegawa kit is very nice. Some of the comments here are interesting - you hardly ever see comments about a decently built 1/48 kit saying "Wow that's fantastic.. I just realised it isn't 1/32 scale"
