russ c
Hi Everyone, Seeing as it`s India s Independence day thought I`d show some pic`s of my Airfix Hurricane Which I did as an aircraft of the Indian Air Force, based at Risalapor, India, around 1942 The air filter is a modified Hobbycraft kit part and improvements made include some extra cockpit detail (that can barely be seen) Opened the case ejector chutes that Airfix forgot and a vac canopy Hope you like, Cheers Russ
Mike DeTorrice
Excellent in every area, Russ ! What a great-looking Hurricane. That tropical air filter definitely changes the familiar lines of the Hawker up around the cowl area and make for a very interesting model to display. al_the_drummer
That's absolutely lovely - very subtle details, but it all comes together to look very realistic indeed...
rmcclure
Super job Russ - I like that very much. Great build and makes me think I need to have a go at that kit. Cheers, Roger

Spitfire31
That restrained and suggestive weathering really dots the i on this one. Skilled and tasteful modelling! Kind regards, Joachim

keith in the uk
Very nice indeed , i would be tempted to swop the wheels for some aftermarket ones as the Airfix ones are totaly inaccurate
