ACHTUNG PANZER (1939-45) GB

Hey Guys.
Dont know if this has been done before, but I reckon this could turn into a rocking GB.

(EDITED BY MAD STEVE - 18/11/2013
This GB is for ALL tanks and AFV's from ALL participants during WWII (1939-1945), not just German vehicles.

Any Vehicle that saw operational service during WWII is most welcome to join the GB, not just German vehicles

This does exclude however, the paper panzers, E series, Maus etc etc.

Its called the Achtung Panzer GB because we thought it was a rather catchy name, so its not just German Vehicles

I would gladly stand as a host, if someone would like to volunteer as a co host. (Wolfpack has volunteered)

If we get enough interest, we can ask mish to put forward at the next GB meeting (and send her a biiiig bunch of flowers, choccies, champagne etc) :coolio:

What you reckon chaps?

Wow, NOBODYS interested in a Panzer GB?

ok........

Think of the range of vehicles that this could encompass, there are literally hundreds of vehicles from that period of time and with some of the new stuff coming out, this could be a really cool GB.

My two choices would be:

Tristar - Panzer 38t with interior set

Trumpeter - Pz Kpf IV fargestel Ausf D/E (a fanatastic kit just btw)

Hi,

Count me in. I have loads of 1/72 german armour I'd like to build so this would be a suitable kick to get something done.

Guess it would give me a kick start on one of the German armour that I have lurking - various panthers, panzerIIs, IIIs and Ivs, a Dicker Max, a half track, a 38(T) to name but a few.

OK Chaps.

Clearly there are no German AFV buiders out there  apart from the six of us above

It would be nice to have a Tank GB, soooo how about we roll the idea out further, and make this for all Tanks / AFV's of WWII.

So how about it ACHTUNG PANZER GB... All Nations?

What do you guys think, Lets here what you think...

Hi Steve,

Works for me either way as have a vast stash of 1/72 armour I want to build.

Really hope you can rustle up enough interest to get this off the ground.

Woohoo nearly at 10... Come on guys, lets get this off the ground..

Sleeperservice- yes the Kugelblitz would be allowed, there is documented proof one took part in a battle before the war ended, check wikipedia.

Steve, I don't normally do German stuff but during a rummage I've found a couple vehicles:

Sd kfz 138/2 Hetzer & Kugelblitz

Both 1/35th and both part started. If I do both would that be okay to join in?

Have never done a GB before but have been strong-armed by Sleeper Service into taking part (If you've met him you'd understand)

Hi Dan

That will entirely be upto a vote held later in the year for upcoming GB's I believe.

We have to get 30 bods and 2 hosts to qualify, if im not mistaken.
