longshanks
Few more details, decided the area around the repair was looking a bit bare. I was pleased with the way the tarpaulin turned out as I had to find a way to create it without PVA glue, reason being I wanted to paint it off the model. I lay out the tissue paper on glass and sprayed it with acrylics. Use a razor blade to lift it or it will stick to glass. After several top coats I flipped it over and sealed the bottom. I was suprised to find the tissue was still quite flexible, could be handy! Damaged planks removed Found some Italian helmets which I've scattered about the upper decks Thanks for looking Cheers Kev Edited February 7, 2018 by longshanks
Bengalensis
When you think it's as good and detailed as it can be, then something more is added taking it to yet another level. This is very admirable work!

The one thing I'm not happy with is the figure situation. I would like an Italian officer in whites, anyone any suggestions. Al Gunthwaite
Hi Stuart Choroszy Mobelbud do a fairly comprehensive range of resin MAS Boats in 1/72: http://modelbud.home.pl/en_US/c/Scale-172/70. I've not seen one so I can't vouch for the quality. I have often thought of getting one to finish as Christmas which was captured and operated by the RN out of Malta. I haven't got around to researching which model of MAS it was. Al

Courageous
Very tempted to try one of these Modelbud boats but I might just wait 'till I've got a number of 'normal' boats under my belt first, maybe I'll put one on my 'Christmas' list.
