Another top notch build Russ, absoloutely gorgeous. I rather like the lack of markings and work-a-day look, it's got bags of character.

Cheers

Lovely machine - oddly enough I saw one of these at Sherburn Aero club in Yorkshire yesterday - done up in marine camo - great condition!

Love the way you did this one as well!

That really does look great. The weathering is very nicely done setting off the plain scheme to perfection, and it doesn't need anything more that just the stencils and tail number .

That Vietnam collection is growing miraculously fast! Well done!

Is the canopy a good fit?

Sid

Hi Sid, No the canopy is not a very good fit, in fact there`s a leaflet in the box seperate to the main instructions that warn you so ( which I thought was a nice touch ).

Actually none of the kit is a very good fit, but with a lot of trimming and filing it goes together with little filler.

Cheers, thanks for looking

Superb looking Bird dog.

All of them look very well made. I take it the kit is hard to come by?

Steve.

Hi Steve, I don`t know if it ever comes in to production now and again over the pond, but I couldn`t find one very easy.

As far as I know it`s been out of production for years.

Thanks for looking.

And Thanks to everyone for all your nice comments and interest

Cor - thats nice. Lovely finish too - just the right amount of "knackered" :)

I remember being in a model shop in Brighton about 13 years ago - and there was a huge pile of these kits by the till - all on "special" offer. Perhaps i should have bought a few it seems.

cheers

Cracking job Russ.   I love all your stuff.   I'm going to use this as reference for my Raven FAC.   What's the saying, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"?
