JeffreyK
It's a little bit late, but here are some pictures from the Phantom Pharewell event at Wittmund air base, Germany on June 29. Luckily, the rainy, cold and miserable weather started to clear just that day. Cheers Jeffrey
heloman1
Just caught up with the fine article in latest AFM, sad to see the old ladies go. They have served NATO etc well. Thanks for sharing your pics. Colin
Paul J
Couldn't help feeling tears well up! So sad but things must move on. Such fond memories of RAF ones and others (USAF)I recall seeing at Lakenheath Lovely photos though. I can see lots of Revell issues coming with all those Pharewell schemes as a lasting memento. Duncan B
Tremendous photos and well done to the Luftwaffe for the special paintwork. I hope they are going to keep those specially painted aircraft as museum pieces. Duncan B

Jon Kunac-Tabinor
Lovely pics Jeffrey - a clean long-nose F4 down lo still looks pretty special. There's a real fluid grace in the F4, shows it was designed by humans, rather than the rather angular CAD- ness of the Typhoon. Jonners
