1/72, Yak-3 "Weapons of Great Victory", Zvezda

Recommended Posts

I have built this model in the past year to the day of the Great Victory. It is a machine of Lieutenant Colonel Anton D.Yakymenko. He was the commander of the 150th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment (5th Air Army, 2nd Ukrainian Front).

Fuad,

I have one of these in my stash to do, if only I could do it the justice you've shown here - fantastic job!

I do wish you'd stop trying to tell us these are 1/72nd scale models though

Looks like another pair of nylon stockings ruined for that antenna wire too

You wife must love making models Fuad :fight:

I have collected just one model in the 48th, "American" scale - this is very nice and easy to assemble. Still, I stayed true to the good old classic "British" scale.
As for the sock)))) - for four years of modeling, I used only one sock and then threw it. Now I use a woman's hair. This is more excites the imagination))).
