delta7 Posted August 10, 2013 Author Share Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) not going well now - rivetts didnt work for me, when I pulled off the top they all came off with the sheet. Abandoned that and tried spraying yellow and this was poor , airbrush clogged or paint coverage wasnt great so I rubbed it down and got a can of humbrol yellow acrylic spray - this worked and its now a bright yellow. still lots to do - paint on black paint areas, clear green on canopy. varnish decals might suggest rivetts by light pencil lines or might just leave it lots of small ariels , mirrors etc to fit lots of real world stuff to do so getting pessimistic about finishing on time Edited August 10, 2013 by delta7 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have recently finished the Airfix Royal Navy Sea King, I am glad to see you didn't have canopy fit issues like I did on that one.
