hi I'm pretty new to modelling so just have a few questions how do you make intake and exhaust nozzle dust covers? remove before flight tags and crew ladders any help would be appreciated. many thanks :thumbsup:

You can buy the RBF tags in various scales from Eduard, have a look on their website or you could have a go making them with stripes of masking tape. They might have the crew ladders too.

G'day Tomcat 20,

Floating around this site somewhere is a how to tutorial that involves the use of tissue paper dry formed over the the intake face and held in place with masking tape.There was a light brushing of diluted PVA glue involved to set the tissue to shape,a little light sculpting and directed assistance from gravity ie let it sag appropriately under its own weight as it sets.

If you are crafty you can let it not bond to your creation so that it can be removed when set for painting.Cut to shape after setting sorted out the long ends needed for construction.
