delta7
need some help in the britmodler walkaround of the seaking there is this photo what is the orange canvas opposite the door for? what is the purple padding to the right of the door for? thanks for any help
heloman1
Only an educated guess but the purple padding is probably a seat squab for a fold down seat. This is the crew enrty door, to the left on the verical panel below the black box withthe white pouch is a folded piece of metal, proably a slot to hold the one side of the seat frame when folded down. The orange sheet looks to be one side of a stowage bin, as this is an SAR cab it would have lots of gear used in emergencies but not necessarily used on every mission but it needs to be in easy reach/to hand. Just my take on it. Colin

Fifer54
Here's a few pictures taken yesterday at the HubschrauberMuseum Bueckeburg in Lower Saxony. First, a Huey of the German Army. Nose and antenna fit: And the rotor head: Engine bay: Next,an Alouette II's cabin: And another view: An external view: A Bell 47 rotor head: Mil Mi-2 transmission bay: That's it for now. I hope these admittedly poor pictures (still getting to grips with the camera!) will be of help to someone.
