SRN-1 Airfix, aftermarket decals?

Recommended Posts

Cant help with an answer about replacement decals, but about the yellowing; put in the sunshine for a while [might take days or even a week or two] or under UV light,[ may take several hours] - that usually reduces the yellowing, sometimes getting rid of it completely. Give the decals a coat of Liquid Decal Film, incase they might be cracked and break up when soaked.

I had a set made by Paul Parkes. Maybe he still has the artwork saved somewhere, and can print some more for you.

He did a beautiful job, and provided lots of spares. Sad to say I'm too much of a lazy sod to have built the kit yet......

I've also got this kit in the stash and the decals on mine are the same.

Would be very interested if new decals could be printed, would be more than willing to cover the cost etc.

I received an email from paul Parkes asking me to send a scan of the decals; he does not have the file he used previously any more.

@

rotorheadtx in case you still have the scan you sent to Parker, could I ask for a copy of it?

My email is cr.lundin AT telia.com

Thanx in advance
