Deacon
I like this a lot and I'll have to keep my eye out for Hobby Boss subs.
Shar2
Good to see one of these built. Just one thought, is there a problem with the white periscope paint?
Antoine
Yes, indeed. I'm not too familiar with subs and ships, and even more with building models, so I've messed up a bit, and glued every parts of the sail from the beginning... Much harder to paint details thereafter! And each antennae/periscope was broken at least once, most of them twice... I didn't want to many delays, as there was a 24h00 time limit. I did this build just under 17 hours total time, in about 15 days. Lesson learned, the next ship should be better! Shar2
It's always a learning curve, sorry to have been picky, but it jarred with the rest of the build whcih is very nice.
Antoine
It's ok, no problem about it. If I couldn't stand critiscism, I wouldn't post my builds over here.

Antoine
Be advised that the model require some surgical attention. It's made easy by HB, but if you want to avoid it, you can revert to the type 033. Without missiles, but it comes with a flyingboat!
Shar2
I did a review of the kit with the flying boat when it came out. Now have both boats in the stash.
