Doug Rogers
Here's my entry for the GB. Looks like a really nice kit, looking forward to getting started. Love the look of a Tony Southgate design. He did the Le Mans Jags, and the XJR15 Jag, which I think has a passing resemblance to this car.
Mark
Good to have you on board Doug! I was going to ask how you're going to do the gradient on the black to red section on the front but see that it's covered by a decal. I'm no expert on the GT series, but aren't they supposed to be homologated with road versions? Would be nice to have one of those in the garage! Doug Rogers
Yes there were indeed road going versions, which I think are worth an absolute mint now. They do look very nice.
triumphfan
Really nice looking car. Looking forward to seeing it progress from kit to model! Steve.
Bengalensis
Nice subject, it's really good looking indeed. The kit also looks nice and the 50% of it I have built was as good as it looks. Why only 50%? I only built that much as I used those bits to create a GT1 version of the Ford GT90 as if it had raced at a late -90's Le Mans... I should have decals and some spares laying around if something is messing up.

Doug Rogers
Made a start on my Nissan; I'm guessing this is the onboard fire extinguisher for the drivers compartment; And fitted; Brake discs and hubs; Dashboard painted and transfers on; More next week! Doug Rogers
Got a bit more done today, seat painted up and attached the Willans transfers to some lead foil to give them a little more substance; More later in the week.

Doug Rogers
Slowly to be honest, just can't seem to buy any modelling time at the moment. Still hopeful it's going to get finished in time though.
