TheJackal
Hi guys I am after a bit of help tracing a model/kit of the HMS Narvik which my dad served on as a radio operator during the 1956 Monte Bello A Bomb tests. I would prefer a kit but have not built a ship before, mainly cars, bikes and planes. I think it was classed as a Tank Landing Craft and i guess it is not a mainstream model judging by my initial searches for one. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Edited February 3, 2013 by TheJackal
Shar2
She looks more like an Landing Ship Tank, rather than a Landing Craft Tank, so I don't think there are too many choices for this. The nearest I can think of is one by Armageddon but it is quite difficult to find.
Seahawk
If it is an LST, a company called Skywave put out a kit with 2 1/700 scale LSTs in it back 20-25 years ago. Quite nice kits by the standards of the day. The same moulds may subsequently have appeared under the Pitwave label (as in "I don't know whether they did or not but some ex-Skywave kits did"). TheJackal
Cheers for the info guys. There seem to be plenty of LST models but they are all of the American versions. I am looking for an english one, I think it is LST 3044.
