ajaycad
The old (?) Revell kit enhanced with Flightpath Flaps, resin 1000lb practice retarded bombs and if I recall, an Aires cockpit, seats and exhaust nozzle set. The flap set required a huge amount of resilience on my part to fit, however the effort was worth it in the end.

amcb10
That looks awesome, especially the office and bombs. Those flaps look like they may have been a pig to fit but top job for doing it.

MPaul
Great model! Loving it. Why did you go for flaps down but air brakes and IFR probe closed?
ajaycad
Yes those flaps were a "challenge" I nearly gave up on them a few times, but glad I stuck to it. Most references of "Tonka's" parked up showed the flaps lowered but the IFR probe and air brakes stowed. One of my work colleagues used to work on the Tornado so I had a heads up from him too. MPaul
I usex to work on them too. We always parked them with probe and brakes out in a HAS, so we could inspect them during servicing. Doesnt detract from a great model though.

Plumber
Very nice build. Used to work on this jet when I was on 617 at Lossie. One small thing though, the bombs should be closer to the pylons. I loaded several hundred 1000 pounders over 16 years on Tonka's and when loaded you can barely get your fingers between bomb and pylon. Other than that a very nice model and brings back many memories. Thanks !!!
