Radleigh
It was a ANAconda... Hopefully it survived I just meant it was funny as it's not the sort of thing you expect to see!
pigsty
Strongly doubt it survived. Some reptiles can take the loss of quite a lot of tail, but far from all of them, and the low temperatures and thrashing around won't have helped. A slight change from the usual cleaning job, though ... "'Ere, that ain't hydraulic fluid." Edited January 10, 2013 by pigsty
Paul J
Reminds me of the days when airflow tests were carried out on aircraft wings etc with tufts of wool sticking out all over the place. Maybe it might have revealed some buffeting between wing trailing edge and the nacelle???

Loki
LOL. I got stuck at Paraguay Asunción bus terminal a few years ago with a dude sitting to the right of me holding a huge basket. I asked him, in my reasonable Spanish, how much lunch he had brought with him. He opened the basked to reveal, what he said was, 6 constrictors and anacondas. I nearly s**t a brick. Miggers
Surely it would be a Sidewinder??? If it had been in the nose gear bay and appeared on the nose surely it would have been a Vindscreen Viper,no?.......................
