Duncan B
Gents I need to replace some struts on several 1/72 models and have a vague memory that some company somewhere makes various sizes of strut material, can someone point me in the right direction please? Wez
Duncan, Originally it was Contrail but then Aeroclub took over the production of the stuff, drop John Aero a PM to see if he's still got some. Another thing to look out for is Strutz which is metal rather than plastic, it too comes in various sizes - I don't know if it's still available but again< John Aero may know. I've found that a mix of the two materials is often needed. Wez
gcn
Have a look on modelskills.co.uk who are Albion Alloys. They sell a tool called a strutter that makes struts out of brass that may be of use.
