Tempestwulf
Evening All Just about to finish another 1/72 Hasegawa Spitfire, an VIII of RAAF service, and I'm otherwise happy with it apart from the landing gear. Now I know it's not something you stare at once finished but it's one of the weaker points of the kit in respect to the huge arsed seam & sink mark that wreck it. It's small with more contours than I'd like to spend time sanding around. Is there any after market replacements available for 1/72 spitfire landing gear? The tyres are easy as are scissor links but the actual gear itself is my bone of contention. Buying a 'donor' kit isn't really high on my priority list unless it'd work out the same price etc. Any suggestions or should I live with it? Giorgio N
Aeroclub used to do a set. Not sure if they are still in production, but they can still be found searching around
