Requesting some assistance in paint shades.....

As some of you may have looked at my Stoner/Pedrosa 'Gladiators' painting down the page somewhere., I'm in a quandry, as to how to replicate the 'Bright Red' of the Xerox Ducati of Troy Baylis in my latest painting. The red is almost flourescent, I have Reeves Brilliant Red which comes nowhere close but Tamiya do a Bright Red TS-46 in their aerosol range but this is solvent based.

Yesterday I purchased a tube of Brillliant Organge in the hope that I can come soemwhere close but I'm not holding my breath.

I could maske the whole painting and airbrush in the TS-46 but I'm afraid of damaging the underlying arcylic.

Any suggestions, please.

Colin

Hi, Thanks for the pointer, think I'll pass on that one 6 Punds 50 for pastage in the UK, can't think what they would charge to South Africa. I think a trip to my local art shop is required.
