Oddball
For all you RoF fans out there, the nice chaps over at 777 studios are having a lovely sale until the 28th. 50% off all aircraft except pre-orders. Looks like it's time to pick up that Biff.
HammerUK9
Kind of tempted - I'd like to get into RoF more but can't seem to even fly straight!
Oddball
I wouldn't worry too much about it mate, I've been playing it for a while now and I still can't get the buggers to go in a straight line. I think it's to do with the physics of such a small, light aircraft. The least gust of wind will throw you off course. FSX it ain't! From what I've experienced so far it seems to be a much more "by the seat of your pants" method, close to what I imagine the real machines to have been like. Scoring a kill in combat is so difficult it becomes a celebration to actually see some smoke coming out of an E/A's engine. Don't even go into landing, I pile up about once every 10 tries. There's a really steep learning curve there but if you persevere I reckon you'll soon start to get some real satisfaction out of it. Mind you, makes it harder for the hun to shoot you down.
