I bet they cost a bit of cash! There's almost more etch n bits than plastic parts in the kits. If you're a competitive modeller these look ideal sets but I'm not sure my patience level will go that far!

The Queen Elizabeth 1/700 set look stunning, any idea when it will be out?

 

Also I highly reccomend the Orange Hobby Midway, it's incredible, only got it recently and wow. Now if only it was a Vietnam War era version...

The Queen Elizabeth sets are in the UK now, sat waiting to clear customs. :)

Does anybody know of a UK stockist that has the new 1/700 Orange Hobby Midway in stock, google only brings up Starling but they are out of stock.

Just seen that Special Navy have released a 1/72 Biber, with a trailer in the works for a December release.

On Steel navy ,someone has taken a picture of the latest trumpeter catalogue and is showing the 1/350 the county class cruisers HMS Cornwall,Kent yes 1930's ones and also HMS York and Exeter. Very interesting.

There's also a 1/350 Schleswig-Holstein and a 1/700 Type 23

Strange choice, as theres a Mikromir one already available. Having picked one up last week.

 

Also Hobbyboss are still showing a 1/350 Golf class Russian submarine, which still hasnt materialised after 2 years?
