Mike Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 The canopy on the Promodeller kit is the biggest issue... it's not very clear and not very representative of the structure of the real thing. There's also the lack of detail in the cockpit and wheel wells, the perennial complaint over kits of this age. Even the CMK update isn't quite up to scratch, as the canopy is again simplified. One question though...people seem to be showing an awful lot of faith in Meng, a company most of us hadn't heard of and a kit no-ones seen yet. What happens if it turns out to be donkey? kpc7676 Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 (edited) Just received mine this morning, GLORIOUS kit, and a quick summary: - 32 step instruction booklet with a colour cover - Two decal options including a Russian captured version and a German version - Eight light grey sprues and two clear - A small etch fret with belts and some other small extras Some of the sprue attachment points look a little too large and will need some careful removal.
