Roland Pulfrew
Firstly, welcome to everyone who agreed to participate in the Swedish Mil GB. We officially start this coming Saturday so please start to clear the pit lane and will all entrants start to move to the starting grid. I note a few are there already so I hope you haven't started As highlighted by Mish the rules will appear here, most of them are standard GB rules as used in many of our GBs, so here goes: 1. The GB runs from 0001 20 Oct 12 (UK time) until 2359 20 Jan 13. Only models less than 25% complete on the start date are eligible. 2. Entries must be built by the modeller entering the model. Collaborations with children or partners are allowed but must be specified. 3. All builds entered into the GB must be accompanied by a build/work in progress thread and have photographic evidence of, at least, the major stages of the build. These must be posted as the build progresses. It is not acceptable to post a build thread with all the stage photos in one posting. 4. Models of Swedish Military Equipment (army, navy or air force) are eligible for the GB - that is Swedish manufactured equipment in Swedish military service (ie a SAAB aircraft in Swedish Air Force colours) or foreign manufactured equipment in Swedish military use (ie a Spitfire or a Mustang in Swedish Air Force colours). 5. In addition Swedish manufactured equipment in foreign service is permitted (ie a Gripen in Thai or South African colours). 6. 'What-If' models of equipment as it might have appeared in Swedish military service (ie a BAe Hawk in Swedish Air Force colours) are acceptable. 6. At the end of the GB there will be a vote for the "best in class". GB members are reminded that canvassing/trolling for vote either on BM or other forums is not allowed. 7. Picture posting. If possible, please would GB members resize photos posted on the site to 800 x 600 or similar. 8. There can be no For Sale, Wanted or Swap threads within the GB. These should be posted in the appropriate area of Britmodeller. 9. All Group Builds must have a pinned rules thread and a pinned chat thread - here they are. 10. Finally have some fun and good luck. Any questions please PM Denstore &/or Roland Pulfrew or ask in this topic. Edited October 19, 2012 by Roland Pulfrew
