Being danish, I have a naturally soft spot for danish aircraft I also have a danish Fokker DXXI in my stash, it is the J-42 in NMF with underwing cannons. Around 20 of these almost new fighters were destroyed by Luftwaffe on the 9 April 1940, when Denmark was occupied. My plan is to present it finished here on 9 April next year. Again, great job! IPMS19 Posted October 8, 2012 Share Posted October 8, 2012 - Very nice little model, I have several D XXI in my stash most of them will be Finnish, building a Danish model is apealling to me, but I read somewhere that some Danish D XXI were fitted with Madsen underwing guns but I didn't find any photographic evidence of units issued machines,is it possible that it is an experimental installation, I have no element to make my mind,so I'm stiil waiting before entering the building job.
