What a great choice Smudge. Classic interwar thinking: Need for power? Just add more engines...

Great thing was, it worked. There are several evocative photos on the net of the Do-X sightseeing around the world - pure magic :)

While I remember Smudge (Pin's photo has reminded me), watch out for the flight deck glazing - it is generally pretty rubbish (at least the one I had was), and has noticeably too few windows.

Either way though, I can see that yours is going to be a very impressive beast! :popcorn:

According to my sources, the lower wings are all bare metal - why did you painted them dark gray ?

Do you mean the floats?? I have read in a book some where that at one time the floats were painted non slip black.But I'm blowed if I can find it now..

This picture appears to show it.........Albeit partially..I will change my model to reflect.....
