Radleigh
Hey everyone, quick question. In this photo ( http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/5/3/2/2100235.jpg ) you can see above the engine on the fuselage, a vent is just visible. I'm looking for something like this in etch if possible? I'm not having much luck finding something so hopefully someone can help. If there is such thing, 72nd scale would be nice! Thanks, Radleigh. TMC_Sherpa
The panel with the louvers in it? Or are you pointing to something else? There are detail kits out there for HO (and smaller/bigger) trains so you may be able to cobble together something from the choo choo section. Thinking outloud Sherpa

feifeitim
Hi Radders, You could try CraftsMan Models. In their catalogue they have various detailing kits for locos including etched grills. I've used them in the past for detailing a Class 31 and their product for that loco was fine. Here's the link: http://www.craftsmanmodels.co.uk/ Regards Tim
Pin
How I do it: method 1: Tools - rivetter and scriber, material - thin plastic method 2: Almost the same, but on foil and needle instead of scriber, unfortunately I don't have any pictures at hand. This method makes it possible to make both embossed and recessed lines

NickR
Not sure if you are still looking for these but found something that may help whilst looking for other things http://www.dccsupplies.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=3634 (I have no vested interest in this company - they are one of 3 Archer suppliers in UK according to Archers own site http://www.archertransfers.com/PAGE_Dealers.html ) Edited August 26, 2013 by NickR
