Jon_Airbus
This is the most difficult I ever built so far. Assembling vacform for me is very hard. Lots of sanding and modifications I applied.Be the judge of the result. I decided to discotinue at the moment building this model.

Jon_Airbus
Stll lots of work to do here. Need to modify the engines and the gears I'm done with the elevators so far. Good luck on your 747SP... I wish myself good luck too as I have not started yet my Welsh's 777-300 British Airways. Thanks Cuprar
cuprar
Why not get the MC kit and contrails nose and convert the fuse with PVC pipe? Cheaper in a big way
Jon_Airbus
Yeah I know. I bought the Welsh 777 because I thought it would be better kit compare to MC and Doyusha. But when I saw it, It wasnt that perfect as I have been expecting. Though it includes better engine - GE90 in resin Now I must say that I still prefer the MC 777. It is the best so far for me. Easy to modify

Jon_Airbus
yeah I saw it. I have built already an MC777 converted to 300ER already. It looks pretty good so far. I am planning of selling out my Welsh's 777-300... what do you think?

garryrussell
Vacforms often have a blunt, thick look about them, a lack of sharpness, but this is very good...it doesn't look like a vacform Nicely done
p-26luvr
That looks superb to me. Very colorful. Carl T
jenshb
THat looks pretty crisp and clean to my eyes. If I hadn't known it was a vacform, I'd never have been able to tell from the pics. Persevere and you will be proud of your achievement. Jens
Viking
What? you can't 'discontinue building' that, it looks beautiful. Go on, get it finished its one to be proud of. John

tomprobert
That's lovely - I too have recently built the Welsh MD-11. As far as vacs go - it's one of the best I've ever built! I've got the Welsh 747SP to do so may well build that for the Airliner GB. I love the KLM scheme by the way - it's stunning and it would be a crime not to finish it Tom
stringbag
Don't give up on it Jon. I agree with John and Tom, It's very good and not too far off finished. Chris.
Romeo Alpha Yankee
What problems have you had Jon, like others have said you have got it to a very respectable looking state. Finish it man!
Jon_Airbus
Thanks Guys Settle down guys For you, I'll finish working on this vacform - MD11. I just need a little rest The prob I have here, is the landing gears which looks pretty bad in resin. I'll see if can replace them or totally fix/modify them. Next prob is the GE engines. Need to get another kit of beluga and steal the GE engines. I'll keep you posted.
