Andy K
What was I say about a Javelin looking nice in the red and white Boscombe Down markings? http://www.airfix.com/airfix-products/new-for-2013/aircraft-148-scale/a12007-gloster-javelin-148-a12007/ (Another big hint to a decal manufacturer)
maudesman
Uhmm... Fair play to airfix... But why not the javelin in 1/72, to go with the lightning! I dont want to have to change my stash to 1/48th.... boo hoo Shame, think they missed a bit there... Oh well perhaps next year.... Perhaps we will get all classic cold war jets nxt time.... :-) Edited December 19, 2012 by maudesman

You'll have more than enough new plastic to play with, we've only got two/three new kits in our prefered scale.

And the new Jaguars from Kitty Hawk and now the Javelin.... not forgetting that we 1/72 people are still waiting for a good Sea Vixen that you already have.... tangerine_sedge
As a 1/72 aircraft modeller I'm really happy. I might even break the rule and get myself a Javelin Enough there to stop me spending money on anything but Airfix kits for the next 12 months.

Rev.Light
I am very pleased with the 1/72. And would have a passing interest in the Javelin if it were not for the price....Bit steep for me. Looks like I will have to wait for Trumpeter to bring out the next post war British warplane to suit my purse.
