Uhmm... Fair play to airfix... But why not the javelin in 1/72, to go with the lightning! I dont want to have to change my stash to 1/48th.... boo hoo Shame, think they missed a bit there... Oh well perhaps next year.... Perhaps we will get all classic cold war jets nxt time.... :-)

Cor blimey, never blooming satisfied. Let us who model in 1:48 have some joy. You'll have more than enough new plastic to play with, we've only got two/three new kits in our prefered scale.

Yeah, but what you're getting lately is really impressive: F-4B from Academy, MiG-29 from GWH... two models that are tempting many to cross over to 1/48 ! And the new Jaguars from Kitty Hawk and now the Javelin.... not forgetting that we 1/72 people are still waiting for a good Sea Vixen that you already have....

You don't have to change your stash to 1/48th, just build the Javelin and then, here's the thing, you don't display the 1/48th scale model next to the 1/72nd scale model, that way you don't have to worry about one looking out of place next to the other! Simples!!

Or... you could display the 1/72 models actually on the Javelin. :D
