Continuing with my Airfix builds, here's the 1/72 Spitfire 22. OOB, using the decal option for 603 Squadron in 1951. Painted in Alclad and Humbrol.

Hmmm, shiny. Cracking finish on this one Andy, as the norm. Which Alclad shades and where have you used?

Just got this kit last two days and thanks Andy for such an inspiring build, she is beautiful.

Have my once-every-24-weeks 'long weekend' off work in two weeks, this looks to be an excellent project.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. And Tim, it's Alclad Airframe Aluminium all over, and a coat of Klear on top ;)

Very Nice finish, I have never been much good at silver/natural metal finishes but will practice (promise).

Thanks for sharing

All the best

Great work there. And a welcom product from Airfix, but I'm just wondering about the rear fuselage. It looks a bit skinny to me.

Very nice, looks every bit as nice as the more expensive CMR kit of the same. I think it'll be a big seller for Airfix.
