I would also challenge the claim that the B742 has been poorly kitted. Despite its age the Revell B747-100/200 is still a decent kit which can be turned into a good model. Yes it needs work and the GE engines in the current E-4B incarnation are hideous but the basic shape is good and it's a lot more accurate than the later B744.
