Ad2408 Posted June 8, 2012 Share Posted June 8, 2012 Hello All Following on from dismal failure with the sandbagged Sherman (see earlier posts) I thought I'd stick that one back into the stash until I have the right mark of Sherman to complete it properly. To that end I have now decided to start on an Extratech Achilles in 1/72. Firstly the obligatory sprue shot... As you can see the kit includes some nice etch and link & length tracks, looks quite nice overall, some flash and 'soft' moulding but nothing I can't (hopefully) cope with but not up to the same standard as the Dragon models I usually build. Now having said that when I started to build tonight I was faced with this: Return rollers are moulded solid, now I'm pretty sure that they won't be seen but just in case: And then....
