I exclusively use Tamiya acrylics, and was wondering if there are any issues with buying them from places like hobbyeasy or luckymodel & getting them shipped to NZ. Will NZ post have a fit? They prohibit oil based paints from being sent through the post and don't mention acrylics. However I think Tamiya print a 'Flammable' icon on the pots, which presumably would get the package binned if it gets inspected. It would be a surface packet, rather than airmail, if that makes a difference.

cheers

I've bought gunze Mr Metal colour from overseas and it arrived just fine, that's a lacquer paint so way more flammable. I wouldn't expect any issues with Tamiya acrylic, and the good thing is you can pick up the larger 23ml jars no longer sold here for only a little bit more than we pay for the 10ml jars in the shops.

Just as a follow up, I've just had delivery of a 23ml jar of XF19 from ebay seller leg tin: http://myworld.ebay.com/leg_tin

Took about a week, free shipping and was $8NZ for the 23ml jar, so pretty good value given that 10ml jars are usually about $5 or even $5.50.
