Surprisingly rigid !!!!!1Nige
foxy
Maybe you will have to make the batteries from plastic Nige mate. Do you have a picture of what they look like. Never know, I might have something to help. Great work as all ways. foxy

Okdoky
Thanks Bigbad Filling up the chassisA wee bit of a break and only the brakes been worked onThe bleedin glues refused to take any hold on the mix of plastic tubing leaving the rings floating about or popping off at the slightest nudge !! Thought a light sanding would help, but still an issue even now !!!Am finding blue tack to be a very useful third hand for jobs like drilling and even cuttingAnd had to fix a screw up with flexi pipe routesWrong sideAfter correction

brianthemodeller
Not much progress??? I think it looks superb. Keep tinkering away - if you start rushing you'll loose that amazing level of accuracy and detail.
Okdoky
Have been getting time to tinker with the plastic while I am up at Lossiemouth at the caravan (likely the last time at Silver Sands unfortunately). My work bench for the two weeksGetting all the bits to fit just right is bleeding awkward especially as a couple of mm out in one place throws things out elsewhere ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and it is so hard to predict where the effect will knock on to or multiply up until you hit the next problem area !!!!!!! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Will be a few cuts and shuts in areas hopefully that will be hidden from view except for those in the know !!!!!!!Rear brakes and load sensorMounting the cab has meant having to tweek the front axle and the bumper to make sure the cab sits right !!!!!Am enjoying chilling out on hols and getting wee hits on the buildNiige
foxy
Well its some work you have there and seeing it in its full size, I am amazed the amount of work you have got into this build so far. 'Is there more he asks him self', looks near complete to me. Nice work. foxy
Okdoky
Links of brake actuators to drums, steering arms and tie rods, transfer box (dimensions still a bit sketchy on this), prop shafts, cab interior, front and rear light clusters, tyre inflator, a few hoses and cables in, under and around the engine and cab !!!!! Paint items and assemble and then overall green and black !!!!!! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Then some glazing !!!!! Need to rebuild the kit-kat seats with corrected dimensions too as one damaged but I had measured once ,,,,,,,,,,,,, cut a few times ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, AND GOT IT WRONG !!!!! Needs correcting !!!!! Seems not a lot when I put it that way but I need to get my finger out !!!!!! Thanks for all the support through out Nige
