Goodness me that is going to be INSANELY big - I can barely fit my current 1/32 on the bench without either knocking something over or clearing my lamps and paints way to one side!

My word, this has all the hallmarks of being must see build, so I'll be watching this!

1:18 scale must be awesome for detailing and it looks like you've made a cracking start, almost can't wait for more!!

Extremely well done on the Seats!!!

I think I've seen these 1:18 aircraft models before on the web.

I too am very interested in them, especially their F4U Corsair.

Big fan of large scale, so i'll watch this with great interest.

2 Questions though: Where did you aquire the F-14, was it in the UK? Also how do all the parts fit together, are there screws, or snap-fit?

As to your question Silverstone2: I bought 2 of that toy models. One from USA and one from Poland where it was very much chiper. I think they stil have some. Here is the link:

So I started to build the whole cockpit from scratch. Then I decided that i want to open nos ad show the radar and allso open a side panel and show the gunbay ad show it together with the gun.
