I'm aware that a number of people are trying to contact me via the workshop. I am unable to go to work at present due to a viral illness and I will catch up as soon as I'm well enough to get to the workshop.

Take care of yourself. FWIW a friend of mine who's an acupuncturist once confided to me that Shingles was one of the things that acupuncture can actually cure.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. I'm hopefully getting there and I'm hoping to get over to the workshop soon. The Shingles came out of the blue but followed a visit from a grand daughter who (unbeknown to us) had Chicken Pox.

I remember my mum getting shingles - not nice. Hers went to her eyelids, so the quacks were watching her very closely... keep an "eye" on yourself John (excuse pun), and seek medical advice if it worsens

Like mine did just after Christmas but not from the little people. It just 'zapped' me down my face on one side.

It took a good week or so to clear if thas amy consolation.

Hello, John -

So sorry to hear of your illness. I had a mild attack of shingles a few years ago and my wife went down with it on Monday. Not at all pleasant.

I had it about five years ago, and it knocked me quite flat for about three weeks. the good news is you won't get it twice...
