maltadefender
Decals finally done. I'm not too thrilled with her so far. The tropical filter is probably gilding the lily a bit. The original detachment of JG.26 in early 1941 was tropicalised, but the majority of JG.53 aircraft weren't - in the initial stages anyway. Later in the Mediterranean campaign they were bringing aircraft to and from North Africa, but I am banking on this, an original late 1941 arrival, having been ferried out with tropical kit which could be removed or replaced as required. Parabat
What's not to like? I think its looking pretty good bud, camo could be weathered/toned down a bit, but its looking good.
stevehnz
Looking good to me too, once you get it completed & flat coated it'll look terrific. Steve.

maltadefender
Thanks guys. Almost there... fuel tank to go on before flat coat. Then greenhouse (the 109E open canopy fits a treat) and aerial wire. She's getting to know the Opel refuelling truck and Kubelwagen in the case for now while I finish up on the others...
