Didn't think I would have time to join this GB but managed to clear my bench so here we go.

My first GB on this site and have chose the 1/48 Weekend Fw 190F-8 from Eduard.

I guess Royal Mail must have misplaced all the cards I have sent so sorry if they arrive late.(like my replacement decals from Eduard)

The fuselage halves have been closed up.

PICT0078.jpg

The wings are going together.

PICT0080.jpg

The cowling part glued

PICT0081.jpg

A quick update.

PICT0107.jpg

The tops and bottom of the wings have been glued together but have not glued the wing roots yet as I may have some final adjustments.

PICT0106.jpg

PICT0108.jpg

The gap where the bottom of the wing is attached to the fuselage has been filled with a little styrene sheet but a final bit of filler may be kneaded.

PICT0110.jpg

Just the exhausts to add before the engine and cowl are attached.

Your work is lovely and neat, will you be closing the wing gun covers are taking the easy way out and having them open? Then again perhaps easy is not a word that should be used where Eduard kits are concerned!

Closed this time but maybe another build in the future I will leave them open.

Made some more progress over the weekend.

PICT0117.jpg

Nearly ready for some paint.

PICT0118.jpg

PICT0119.jpg

The fit of the wing gun bay panels is not great.

PICT0120.jpg

So a little filler is needed.

PICT0121.jpg

Next stage some under coat and some pre-shading.
