SUNDON
Didn't think I would have time to join this GB but managed to clear my bench so here we go. My first GB on this site and have chose the 1/48 Weekend Fw 190F-8 from Eduard. If I can find them I have some Decals for a aircraft from 1./SG 4 ,Italy ,June ,1944 left from a previous build and will be adding some seat belts but otherwise will be OOB. stoohoo
Hi Martin, nice choice! - I built the Revell 1:72 F-8 with a similar camo and always thought it was a great looking scheme, look forward to seeing this come together Stu

SUNDON
While it's quiet this morning here's where I'm up to. The fuselage halves have been closed up. The wings are going together. The cowling part glued A bit of dry fitting. The biggest gap. Some painting to be done and the engine next. Martin
Kahunaminor
Nice work on the cowling (at least you put it together the right way round the first time!!). The dreaded "Eduard Fw 190A gap" strikes again
SUNDON
A quick update. The tops and bottom of the wings have been glued together but have not glued the wing roots yet as I may have some final adjustments. The gap where the bottom of the wing is attached to the fuselage has been filled with a little styrene sheet but a final bit of filler may be kneaded. Just the exhausts to add before the engine and cowl are attached. Martin
tank152
Your work is lovely and neat, will you be closing the wing gun covers are taking the easy way out and having them open? Then again perhaps easy is not a word that should be used where Eduard kits are concerned!

SUNDON
Made some more progress over the weekend. Nearly ready for some paint. The fit of the wing gun bay panels is not great. So a little filler is needed. Next stage some under coat and some pre-shading. Martin
