CHALLENGER 2 TES 2008

Recommended Posts

All i'll say is "Wow"

I agree with Dan's 'wow' and would add 'how' at that scale? the weathering is top notch for 1/35th never mind 1/72nd.

very impressive

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. This is the Dragon Challenger with Bar Armour updated to the current TES 2008. I did a full facelift on this and a lot of detail correction. Opened a lot of optics as you can observe here, also scractchbuilt all the TES upgrades. The Enforcer RWS is fully scratch built, Barracuda netting is done using milliput and sculpted on using a tool I custom made. I have a long WIP on this but if you guys wanted to see the step by step progress then I'm happy to post it here. This won Bronze on the last Euromilitaire 2011 in Folkestone category 14A.

Tiny details added to the side armour such as this foot step. Everything has to be small as this will not look right in this scale.

Now the side cables.

This is the flimsy part that came with the kit.

Close up view of the details on the front. Both headlights are turned from scrap sprue as the one that comes with the kit is to small. You can also see the detailings done here including the front driver's camera and jammers and IED counter measures.
