VG 33
Hi This is a fantastic build of a great aircraft. From 1964 there were 36 of them among 9 Bomber Squadrons backed by 3 C-135F Squadrons to deter Warsaw Pact Forces. The Nuclear Weapon beneath (ANM-22) was a free fall bomb. pigsty
Very, very nice. Does anyone know why the Mirage IV's camouflage included all-green wings? BTW, what is the strange radome like this underneath? I'm assuming it's a terrain following radar or targeting device. It's the bombing / navigation radar. It lives there instead of the nose; the nose carries some antennae and the FR probe.

slufdriver
What a superbly built/finished model. And what a beautiful aircraft - I like the idea of a Spey powered RAF aircraft! Richard

Exterminatus
Thank you for all the comments!! Interested in the RATO bottles, are they home made, a latter kit addition or after market?? It's the aftermarket resin set from Skyraider Model Designs ( http://www.smds.ws )..some very useful stuff there.. Plumber
Nice build and lovely finish. I remember being at Solenzara, Corsica during Op Engadine with 9 Sqdn Tonka's sharing the pan with the recce version IVP's. They were a mightily impressive machine. Extremely noisy and a lot bigger than you think!!. Watching these and our Tonka's doing high speed low level beat-up's of the airfield was an amazing sight. Happy days!!!!
