RidgeRunner
I just realised the model has no serial! She should be No.16. The Mirage 4A/4AP fleet had codes-serials that remained with them for their careers. Unlike other aircraft the codes weren't unit designators. F4u
Superb build and finish of a great aircraft think I remember one of these at a RIAT or was it IAT ? great looking aircraft. Guy Edited February 16, 2017 by F4u
Doc72
Great looking model. Fine work! BTW: Does anybody know why the camouflaged Mirage IVs always (?) had the upper side of the wings painted only in green (that is to say not in green and grey like on the fuselage or like the smaller Mirages)? Wez
Fantastic job with the old Heller kit, really impressive stuff! Just goes what wonders can be achieved with these old kits - thanks for sharing. I'm linking this thread to the Mirage GB thread, hopefully it will inspire folks to dig theirs out of the stash. 72modeler
Wow! I am impressed! IMHO, the IV A is the most beautiful delta jet ever built- right up there with the F-106A. You made this very old Heller kit look like a new-tool! Mike
