Id like to use this GB as an excuse to finally pluck up the courage to tackle this beaut. Its been sat in the stash taunting me for a while now :poke: grr ill show you... you big hulk of sexy plastic you!!!

so here is an obligatory box shot

Both wikipedia and airliners.net say this is a Super hornet so id like to do this scheme (feeling brave) although im sure the sign in the pic says its an F14B superhornet ( must be my eyes) Failing that ill prob go with kit decal options.

Must ... control...myself...! I was so tempted to do one of mine, but I'm doing the 48 one first. Despite the errors, it is a real cracker of a kit, I really enjoyed my D.

Dont worry im sure i wont get the two mixed up

seems the Bugs going to be dwarfed by the lumbering brute, good job its got an E, 3 C's, and a D as back up eh lol (not including 72 and 48 scale aswell)
was gonna do the bug as the diamond backs red spine but might end up doing them both vf/vfa 2 bounty hunters tho if the white scheme falls by the wayside.

anyway tonights progress, clean up and test fit some parts,

engines

Coming along very nice my friend I have built two D's myself but one of the D's was turned into a B. I've got the A in the stash was thinking of pulling it out to join this build But I am slowly awaiting my Intruder from Kinetic. Keep up the excellent work my friend

That's looking great. I'll be watching this build as i've had my eye on a Trumpeter 1/32 D kit for a while but haven't been able to pluck up the courage to buy it yet. :)

Bit jealous of this as I don't have the room for 1/48 let alone 1/32!
Great job so far, keep it up!!
