This build for SHADO is an unarmed one just for a change, and is primarily a rescue aircraft for rescuing downed SHADO pilots. It is built as a rapid response VTOL aircraft with a fast cruise speed. As with all of my builds this is 1/72nd scale too, see if you can recognise any of the bits involved

That came out really well, what was the base kit, and where did you get the canopy from?

Hi and thanks for the comments, the base kit is a Kitech 1/48th scale Arado 234, scalerama'd to 1/72nd scale. The canopy is the kit item, painted in clear orange.

That definitely captures the look, nice job! Have you thought about doing a Dan Dare-style space-ship? That style of canopy would be most apt.
