Why can't we have some of these experimental British types in 1/48
Hear, hear, that man, the cost of producing them in this scale, particularly in resin, is one factor, but still it would be nice to see more.
Does anyone know if this is a resin remaster of the ancient Maintrack Project X vac kit ?

JB.
EDIT:- Just looking at my maintrack kit it has one floor, you can only make the low set tailplain from this kit, there are no parts for the 'T' tail that was eventually dropped after trials, maybe the olimpmodels kit will redress this.

You're correct for the basic kit, but Maintrack also produced a conversion kit which includes different wings, fin and high set tailplane

Thanks Dave, didn't realise there was a conversion set, looks like I will be spending some crimbo money lol !!.
JB.
You're welcome John - Just dug mine out, it's kit PCX-04, and a minor correction to what I wrote, you get two sets of wings (50 & 60 deg sweep) plus the high tail - no fin as the high tail still uses the kit fin. If you do the high tail with the 50deg sweepback, you can use the 60 deg wings with another kit and low tail as it was tested in both high and low configuration with this wing. The kit wing is the full 69 deg sweep
Blue Peter mode/on
And here's one I prepared earlier!
